The raw materials used in mechanical machining vary depending on requirements and the desired outcome. However, metal is generally the primary material being processed.
Every metal object, from the smallest components (such as a syringe needle) to satellites, undergoes a machining process before reaching its final shape. In some cases, this involves micro-machining (precision mechanical machining), as seen in electrical circuits, needles, and jewelry components. In other cases, machining takes place on a regular or large scale.
